On Friday January 25th we held a Fund
Raising evening at the Osterley Park Hotel that in total raised
over £4,500 for our Kenya School Kitchen
project. A Buffet Style Supper, Musical
entertainment by members of the Twickenham Operatic Society, Sponsored
Haircuts for Richard Manning (International Chairman) and Jeff O'Leary
(Immediate Past President) and the ticket draw for our grand raffle with
the first prize being a 36 inch HDTV ready Plasma television all
contributed to a most enjoyable evening. Our Principal Guest was Ms Salome GICHURA, Kenya High Commission - Education Attaché see here (left) with Club President, Barbara and President Elect, Fred Fox.
