Kenya School Kitchen Project

As part of our International Service activities we have initiated a project to provide updated Kitchen facilities for a school 300 miles north of Nairobi in Kenya

The project is headed up by our club's International Chairman, Richard Manning who has made two visits to Kenya at his own expense and has established a joint project with the Rotary Club of Maralal.

On Friday January 25th we are holding a Fund Raising evening at the Osterley Park Hotel (7pm for 7-30pm) which will include a Buffet Style Supper, Musical entertainment by members of the Twickenham Operatic Society, Sponsored Haircuts for Richard Manning (International Chairman) and Jeff O'Leary (Immediate Past President) and the ticket draw for our grand raffle with the first prize being a 36 inch HDTV ready Plasma television.
 
Our Principal Guest will be Ms Salome GICHURA,  Kenya High Commission - Education Attaché who has expressed her support for our Club initiative
