Updated 24Sept 2004

Over 400 rowing boats of all shapes and sizes participated in the annual 'Great River Race' from Ham to Greenwich on the river Thames. D1130 was represented by DG Colin Bryant who accompanied the Mayor of Streatham in the Jubilant - the replica Royal Shallop built and launched in 2003. The oarsmen, all wearing the new Rotary T-shirts were from the Twickenham Rowing Club. To see our photos of the naming & launching of the Shallop by HRH The Duke of York, click on HERE
