Welcome to the Rotary Club of Heston
& Isleworth |
|
| Brentford Boating Arch is a project managed by Brentford
FC Community Sports Trust to develop access to the river through
canoeing and eventually rowing to the Brentford, Ealing and Strand on
the Green Areas. For many children, young people and adults with
disabilities, sport can be a great way of creating bridges between
themselves and the rest of society. At Brentford FC Community Sports
Trust they aim to provide and support everyone with additional support
needs and disabilities in as many sporting opportunities as possible. Subsequent to a talk at club by two members of the Brentford FC Community Sports Trust the RC of Heston & Isleworth did some fundraising and presented a cheque for £500 to assist the work of a very worthy local community enterprise. The following photos were taken at the official opening of the' Arch' presided over by Cllr. Gurmit & Cllr. Rajinder Mann: Mayoress & Mayor of Ealing |
